Short Term Opportunities

For young people who wish to have a go at volunteering over a short period of time, we will offer numerous short term opportunities such as taster days and one-off community projects. Short term opportunities will usually be a couple of hours long and on completion the volunteer will receive a v Thank You award.

Grassroots Allotment Project Taster

Date: Tuesday 26th August 2008
Time: 11-4pm
Venue: Allotments near Holyoakes Field 1st School, Redditch
Opportunity to:

• Learn about organic gardening at a new environmental project in Batchley
• Develop practical skills like carpentry, landscaping and design
• Chance to meet new people
• Taste locally grown food
• Improve you CV by gaining a v Thank You award
