Accreditation at Batchley Support Group

Accreditation

As evidence of any volunteering that you do, we will issue you with a v certificate which recognises your efforts and achievements. Currently there are two types of certificate you can aim for:

Thank You Certificate

  • This is issued to any young person who spends time volunteering within a vinvolved project
  • It recognises short-term volunteering i.e. if you attend a taster session or complete a one-off projec
  • There is no limit to how many "Thank You" certificates you can receive

v50 Award

  • This certificate is awarded to any young person who completes 50 hours of volunteering
  • The volunteering can be made up of different projects
  • The 50 hours must be completed within a 12 month period
  • In order to achieve your v50 Award you must keep a log of your volunteering and collect evidence using your v Awards log book and folder (the Youth Volunteering Development Worker will issue you with this and support you to complete it)
  • On completion of 50 hours, a meeting must be arranged with the Youth Volunteering Development Worker to present your log book and evidence so that it can be validated and a certificate issued

Other Accreditation

Where possible, we will try to access other forms of accreditation for you if we feel it will benefit your volunteering i.e. first aid, food hygiene, FA coaching etc.
