Fundraising and Your Company

The Batchley Support Group works hard to give a range of support services to all those who live within the Batchley & Brockhill areas of Redditch. However our work would not be possible without the generosity of our volunteers and grant funders

As an organisation we rely heavily on our support from the grant and trust fundraising sector. We wish to developed our fundraising strategy to spread the risk and increase our revenue funding. There are many ways your company can get involved. As an employee you could try to get your company interested, or get some work mates together to fundraise.

Payroll Giving - Give Through Your Salary

This is a tax free way of giving through your pay. For example, if you donate £5 to us, it only costs you £4. You can give more for less, it’s that simple.

Payroll Giving - sometimes known as Give As You Earn - is a really easy way to make regular, tax-free donations to us.

Each time you're paid, an amount agreed by you is deducted by your Payroll Department, and sent to us so we can continue to invest in vital, pioneering research.

There's nothing more for you to do. And, your donation will be even bigger at no further cost to you, thanks to the Government adding the tax on as an extra donation.

For example, if you agree to give £5 to the Batchley Support Group, you only pay £4.00 - if you are a basic rate tax payer - and the taxman makes up the remaining £1.00.

Charity of the Year

Make the Batchley Support Group your Charity of the Year! Different fundraising events can take place throughout the year to raise money for us! Also if you work for large companies such as Barclays or Marks and Spencer, they may have a match-giving scheme whereby they match the funds raised and donate them to the Batchley Support Group Charity.
