Cool By The Pool at Batchley Support Group

The Batchley Support Group have organised this annual community fete at Batchley Pond Green for many years. Each year more and more people come to Batchley to enjoy this great day out and join in the fun. Below you will find photos and reviews of previous Cool by the Pool events.

Cool By The Pool 2009!

Date: Saturday 11th July

Time: 11-4pm

Venue: Batchley Pools, off Willow Road and Batchley Road, Batchley, Redditch

Cool by the Pool is Batchley Support Group's annual community event held round the pools in the centre of Batchley, Redditch. Admission is free and the event includes live entertainment, climbing walls, bmx skate park and half pipe, quad bikes, bouncy castle, children's fair rides, punch and judy, drumming workshop, angling competition and a variety of stalls to name a few. A great day out for all the family.

Cool by the Pool 2007

In 2007 the event was attended by over 400 people.

Cool by the Pool 2008

A full programme of local talent including singing acts, belly dancers, a samba band and a steel drums entertained people throughout the day until 4 pm. This year we had street dancing workshops, horse rides and there were lots of stalls and attractions run by local Redditch voluntary, community and statutory organisations. Among the activities open to all, there were Quad bikes; a Climbing Wall, Bouncy Castle and bungee trampolining; Children?s Fair Rides and a range of traditional crafts with many prizes to be won.
